Cyber Café Goes Live…
The 4 brand new, state-of-the-art IT facilities, including a Cyber Café
in Millers Restaurant, were opened at 12.30 on Thursday, May 15th.
Each area will be available many hours a day, 7 days a week in an attempt
to give all SFH staff significantly better access to e-learning materials,
the internet and of course, their emails. Indeed, these areas are already
being used by the brave and the inquisitive for a variety of reasons.
The
more accomplished IT literate staff are happily accessing their emails,
surfing the Net and even completing a multiplicity of course and project
work. Absolute beginners are getting accustomed to the new surroundings
and technologies… by playing patience!
Great.
It's free and it's there for you. No need to book an appointment. Just
do it. All that's required to get on the system is a user name and a password…
which can easily be obtained from the IT Helpdesk on Ext 4040.

As long as staff are getting involved the project is a success. The bigger
the involvement, the better that success.
If you're still uncertain or need a helping hand…
