What is a
CyberCafe?
- A Cybercafe is a facility
for use by the public or employees to obtain fast access to both the
Internet and e-mail.
- A Cybercafe provides a comfortable,
aesthetically pleasing and user friendly environment which can be used
for work, education or recreational purposes.
- A Cybercafe can be situated
in many different environments providing a convenient of access to the
web with total security to users whilst preventing access to undesirable
sites. With regular monitoring the system administrator can check which
sites have been visited, how often and for which primary use the Cybercafe
is being used i.e. information or communication.
- A Cybercafe also provides
an excellent tool for work allowing, in many cases, provision for employees
to use the facility for training development and have been very successful
in areas such as Hospital Trusts and educational establishments.
- A Cybercafe can also be
installed into various public locations, the most common being within
hospitality environments and hotel conferencing facilities, which have

Comprehensive
Security
The desking systems
provide a secure enclosure for the hardware for up to 8 workstations.
Each designated work station has a toughened anti-scratch screen which
the monitor sits behind. The cables for both the keyboard and mouse pass
through an aperture in the front of the screen panel preventing access
for unplugging by unauthorised persons.
The PC or terminal
sits within the centre of the enclosure behind locked access panels and
are kept cool along with the monitor by constant running high velocity
fans.
The structure
of the desk systems consists of individual panels some of which are removable
with high security locks and the others fixed by means of security screws.
Power to the desk
will be to the clients individual requirement, with access to the desk
either from below or above. Both of which can be accommodate for, upon
design and assembly.
Unattended
Security / Operation
Supervision of
the system can be by remote access, strictly controlled by means of excellent
software packages allowing for constant monitoring as to which sites are
being accessed.
The Cybercafe,
whilst being remotely monitored for security purposes, can also be provided
with a coin or swipe card system which allows for control of usage and
creates revenue for the proprietor.

Configuration
The desking system
can be supplied in an array of design's, sizes and configurations. Our
in-house design team would work alongside our client from the onset to
ensure an acceptable system was designed to suit any environment or requirement.
Aesthetic
Design
The desking system
can be manufactured from various materials, i.e. wood, stainless steel,
mild steel, laminates, etc. to specific shapes and finished as required.
This allows for bespoke design's to be manufactured to suit individual
clients needs, allowing a greater degree of flexibility in blending the
system into existing environments creating a more user friendly and desirable
piece of furniture specifically unique to our customers.
Technical
Overview
On agreement of
desing and specific requirements, the desking system can be supplied in
various sizes, manufactured in wood with a light oak veneer finish and
stainless steel on chrome trim.
1. Cyber Desk
The desking system
comes as a standard octagonal shape to facilitate the need for an 8 place
workstation. However, Many variations are available with both 2 screen
and single screen units at present having been designed and installed
at client's premises.
Together with
this concept, we have an in-house design team who work closely with our
manafacturing department who will gladly produce a desking system to suit
clients individual needs at an extremely competitive cost.
With regards to
colour and finish of materials, this again can be by individual specification
from a full range of wood products to high polish stainless stell if required.
2. Cyber System
All hardware supplied
by ourselves can be uniquely built to our clients specific requirements
and carries the manafacturer's warranty.
